Hi All!

Don't know if this is the proper forums so my apologies in advance.

I have been invited by a friend to a baccarat game in one of the popular casinos in our city. Might I ask what is the proper attire or standard get up to this kind of game? I am under the impression that it is a high-class card game so I don't want to go there underdressed, orverdressed and embarassed.

Again sorry if this is the wrong forums to post this. :) Thank you all!

Dress appropriately for baccarat they say. I suppose that depends on the casino eh? Wearing a shirt, jeans and flip flops would obviously not earn you an entrance as that would be too casual.

Maybe go in a dress, or a skirt, wearing heels? Look elegant and semi-formal like you would wear going to a business meeting or a job interview. Look sexy but not outrageous.

Men can go in as long as they wear a jacket on normal days. It is not always a black tie event thou I imagine there are many baccarat games that require formal wear, but this I'm sure is mostly by invitation.

I have seen women wear soft pants and heels with a decent blouse to match. Certainly not t-shirts or slippers/flip-flops. Most of the time women players, not too many, or those with their partners are in a dress.
