In sports betting, Who makes the odds??? how do they calculate this?

In Nevada its the Las Vegas Sports Consultants Inc. They do the odds for around 75% of the licensed sports books in Nevada and Oregon. They have a team of consultants that do this.

Im sure they are, just like professional poker players are allowed to play poker. Haha...
Look at it this way, they know the odds but it does not mean to say that their bet is a guaranteed win. So its still a gamble with these guys.
