Crazy Pineapple Poker

Has anybody played this variation of Hold'em? instead of 2 hole cards everybody starts out with 3 hole cards and then the betting begins...

After the betting is complete, the flop is dealt, and another round of betting begins.

Here's where it gets "Crazy" -- after the second round of betting is done, all players remaining in the hand choose 1 card from their 3 hole cards to discard. So everyone now only has the regular 2 hole cards just like in Texas Hold'em again.

I've never played this but was curious about other players and their experiences with this game. :cool:

Thought it was a hawaiian-style poker complete with a luau! :p

My first time to know of this kind of poker. With 3 cards you certainly will have better chances of getting something good with your hand.

Now what if by chance you get 3 of a kind? So this means there will be no 4 of a kind specials since you have to discard one card.

it sure does sound crazy to me. im guessing having three hole cards instead of two adds more excitement and odds in the game. never played this though now i am really curious as to how the whole thing works! :D
