I know Beijing was ages ago and London is still a ways to go, but does anybody here bet on the olympics?

I got curious coz I dont really bet on sports. Just the ocassional side bet with friends but never online or through bookies.

There are bookies that do this. Just like any other sports bet they wager on the outcome of the games. It can be from the medal tally to the score of the men's football medal match. Everything is fair game during olyimpic betting season.

Bah I will not be surprised if anyone would be betting on olympic games. As long as there is the money, there is something to bet on - and a good many sports events during the olympics - then surely gambling will not be far off.

Come to think of it, what sports games would be good for betting in the olympics? Swimming is boring. Gymnastics even more. This are not a regular gamblers game. Track and field? Hahaha....

There is basketball in the olympics.

Boxing is also an olympic game and this is a sport taht many people gamble on.
