Before the internet I used to place bets on horses through the telephone. I would call up my sportsbooks and bet on my horse.

That was like 15 or 20 years ago. I've been off the loop for a long time. Do people still call sportsbooks today?

Yes! There are still sports books that do this. Most online sportsbooks have their numbers listed so try it out! This is still in use and as far as I can tell, lots of people use this method.

if you know a bookie( which is illegal, btw) then you can also text your bet. technology is a wonderfu thing is it not. makes life and betting easier for the lot of us!

Since internet is widely use I think betting through phone is really not that popular now. Do you still do that until now?
