Found that tip OL and thought that it should make sense it is simple to understand and is easy to do.

yes. jacks or better is simple to understand. if you get a pair of 10s you lose. only pair of jacks and higher is a win. better combination like 3 of a kind, straight, flush and 2 pairs win too.

In theory and practice :D it is always easier to learn if you start with something easy. It helps you keep concentration and will inspire you to keep on learning. As my teacher used to say, always begin with the fundamentals... I think this holds true even in gambling! =)

well I only am most familiar with Jacks or Better. but if you know this kind of video poker the others shouldnt be too hard to understand anymore, right? besides, Jacks or Better is among the better payouts when it comes to video poker. there was this another thread here I read that it is 2nd or 3rd

It is much better if you learn first the easier part before you jump in the next level so it wont complicates you.:)
