McEvoy Poker Course

Tom McEvoy School of Poker is holding a course and tournement in the Chicago area in Sept. Early bird registration ends today.

Anybody ever try something like this?

Think there is any significant benefit?

Cost is more than $500 with a tournement thrown in at the end. I think it would be fun, but I hate to spend so much money if I'm not going to get any real benefit.

Opinions anyone?

i've read in one of the forum threads here that we need to be observant, study and practice what you've learn. if you've got money to spare then go ahead and take the class but my suggestion would be to just read some literature online and do your thing.
