Playing poker with women

What is your general consensus when playing poker at a table with females? I have found advantages and disadvantages. Men general out weigh the woman at Texas Hold em.

The disadvantage i have found is if i really bet a hand hard before the flop...most of the table will fold...where as if a man makes the same bet..players at the table are more likely to stay in. If a player bets after the flop and i stay....others will fold.

The advantage to men folding to my bets is ......it makes it soooo easy to bluff. Also what is nice at times as men will have a tendency to bully me. I think there is a feeling i will not be quite as aggressive...and will buckle and fold...i love that when i have a great hand!

Do you react differently to female gamblers?

To be fair i dont treat anyone any different. I take everyone as they come. To be fair in the online poker world alot of the time you dont know if they are male or female anyway.

This forum has sooooo many great male and female players that i dont think i treat anyone any different from anyone else. This whole male/female thing is crazy. Everyone is equal, especially in the poker world.

Honestly I don't have an issue with playing strip poker. Sure women are at a disadvantage because they have more to hide but it's a game and games are supposed to be fun.

Online the difference between male and female is non-existent, for all we know we could be playing against someone's trained monkey named Mr. Bananas right?

In person I don't see a real difference, perhaps a little.

I was at a friend's party and the guys got me playing strip poker. Just an excuse to see me naked. Luckily they don't play poker very well. Know I now which guys have the cutest butts :D

Come to think of it. Wouldn't that be a great idea? Online strip poker!!! Aside from the regular card playing field there would be webcam feeds from all those playing. Before playing the game you'd have to input whatever you're wea**** so it could included in the bets. That way the game would also indicate what you'd have to strip off for losing hands. Wouldn't that be awesome? I wonder if there's one already.

when playing with friends the guys always try to be gentlemanly and I get away with a lot of stuff :p with true poker players though it's every man for himself.

yah makes no difference at all not unless the male player would be gentleman
enough to let the female player win the game. but it doesn't happen every time
and haven't heard of anyone yet.

lols that so funny. stip poker hmm i never thought about that. well in a world of card game you can't just underestimate your opponent. either men or women got their own experience and strategy. but take note. men can be seduce by a women but women can be seduce by a penny. :D

Hahaha... I've never really noticed anything when playing with women. I consider myself a decent poker player and I like observing people while I play, but i don't really see how women tend to be different than men when playing poker.
