I have always wondered if the lottery is a pre-determined game.
Yes, it may have a lot of possibilities but then again there are talks that the lottery balls a rigged and have magnets in it that one can determine the number that will come out. what do you think?

Statistics my dear Watson.
In the lottery you will see a series of numbers where the player choose out the series. This series of numbers are your possibilities of winning the game.

Hi eddymason
No lottery is not ever pre-determined game.
You can call it statistics Or in real player language you can call it counting.
The player count the number and make some calculation out of that.
Thanks

I think it often feels rigged or pre-determined simply becasue the odds are so high 180 million to one odd? I think the odds are less that the sun will suddenly suck up the earth.

I bet many smaller lotterys have been rigged over the years, especially in the past when they didn't have the strict regulation that they have now.

Depends I guess. Some could be pre-determined but I doubt the big state lotteries are. Though those could still be rigged in some way in corrupt offices.
There are more chances of smaller lotteries/raffles to be rigged. Say if the prize was a new car. The organization holding the raffle could partner off with someone wanting to purchase a car. That person pays a certain percentage of the full amount of the car and the organization shoulders the other. The organization goes and sells tickets to recover their share for the car as well as additional income. On the draw date, the person they partnered off with "wins" the car. It's win-win for them. The person gets a new car without having to pay the full price. The organization gets money for their funds. Tough luck to everyone else who bought tickets.
