gambling requires skills and once you acquire this and become expert you attain a certain glory and feel good about yourself.

gambling is a form of entertainment that can lead many people to addiction. when the situation becomes more than a game, i think that's the time that you should need help.

on my own opinion its depend on someone who's into the game. for me its just a form of relaxation or lets say a stress reliever. there are some of us who take gambling as a way of living and some of us are for total entertainment.

Gambling is always an addictive thing. By your desperation to win or gather money, you were able to play and bet for a long time. Without even knowing you are slowly losing.:D

Lets just accept the fact that addiction is part of gambling that's difficult thing to avoid. If you want to avoid being addicted then try exercise or keep yourself busy. It might help you. :D

I guess its become addictive if you don't put a little discipline upon playing. Self control for me is a key to minimized addiction. I'm just a newbie in a world of gambling and me myself need an advised to avoid addiction.

like any other thing, once you love doing it and keep on doing it, it is already called an addiction and i guess it's normal. personally speaking, i love gambling but i'm not addicted to it because i know my limitations.

is there by any chance that a person him/herself can tell that they are already addicted to gambling? i've seen people whom i know they are already addicted but still denies the fact. why is that so?

as you have mentioned the word "deny" make somehow answers your question.
people who are addicted to gamble are pretty much aware they are but they
are just afraid to face the fact that they have a problem and even refuses to
seek help.

i believe in gambling addiction, i know a few people who get addicted to it. but after all, it all depends on the people concerned if they don't have limitations to their self, for all we know gambling is not that bad for as long as it is not habitual and knows how to control yourself because if you don't it might lead you to a wrong direction.

You get high when you keep winning.
Once you lose, you only care about getting that "high" again.
So yeah, it's addictive! :(
