Have you ever wondered why all the time online slot machines, as well as with those of the more tangible kind, pay lines are from left to right? Why there are no up-down or down-up orientation, or maybe right to left?

Are you having a hard time reading it? Why, are you Chinese (top to bottom) or Japanese (right to left). Hebrew is written right-left too. :p

It has to do with reading. English is read from left to right as with most Latin-based language. The game designers probably were using English as basis.
I guess for those not oriented in left to right reading, it is very inconvenient.

there should be an option to reverse the orientation of the paylines from left-to-right to right-to-left. Don't you think? :)
