For the 3rd straight week I played slot machines at the casino. No not online. I wanted to be inside a real casino to feel and hear the coins coming in and out of the machines and the sound of shouting when somebody won. Ok I'm being too dramatic.

Back to the point, I realized that more players are winning because there bets are big. If you keep to the minimum bet, I don't see a win happening anytime soon.

I was playing in this machine for a while on 5-line bets and only got as much as $2-4 payouts, not even enough to cover what I've lost. Then I left the seat and the guy who comes after me wins a bonus round and maybe as much as $100! Jeez! But I observed he was betting as much as 20-lines each bet.

Bet big, win big. How can you expect to win the full prize if is not the maximum bet? You just can't. That is what you have to remember in playing slot machines. There are those freak moments that a small bet will get you a BIG win but not the Jackpot.

1) It is safe to say that many slot machine players will miss the casino ambience that we don't get in an online casino.

2) Only logical. If you bet on more lines then the chances of getting a pattern on any of those lines go up against a betting on one line or a few.

The last time I visited a land based casino I recall my favorite slot machines being full. I waited for a seat to open but a greedy man who could not throw his money away quick enough was playing on 5 machines at the same time.

I also recall spending loads of money with the only reward being an upgrade to my parking card. Now instead of walking 1 mile to the entrance its 0.5 miles...

Online casinos have more to offer for the player not wanting to drive or have to push there way to a slot machine.
