According to news reports this is one effect following the Black Friday seizure of the 3 biggest online poker sites by the US government. Many poker players who have made a career, a living out of playing online poker are now struggling to make ends meet after losing their primary means of income. Some of these have families to provide for. If the numbers are to be believed, the number of players affected number in the tens of thousands!
Wow, can you imagine that?! This is like laying off thousands of people after a company downsized or is forced to close.

Sad but true. For now there is nothing they can do but move on. There are other games or other ways from which they could make a living. It's not the end of the world.

This teaches us a lesson. Don't make gambling your primary source of income. Entertainment? By all means. Career? Make it a short one.
If you do insist, always have a Plan B in case when the sh*t hits the fan.

Them tens of thousands of poker players in the US may want to start petitioning their congressman to do something. Enough noise can bring results especially that many.
IMO, I find it irresponsible for players who have families to support make a living out of gambling. Bachelors, yah, but married with kids, no.
