I started playing video poker but later lost interest in it. It is too random. Machines are programmed by casinos to be as random as possible. therefore the chances of winning are slimmer... :mad:

LOL... This is the fun in gambling. the randomness gives the games excitement. How would you enjoy gambling if everything was a result of a scientific formula? When each move is calculated? Gambling is fun because you can lose something because of its randomness.

Video poker is also about speed so recognizing hands quickly also factors into how well you can excell in this game. However if you practice then it could increase your chances of winning.
