Automatic hold feature

The automatic hold feature or auto-hold, is becoming popular among online video poker. So I noticed. Should I use it or turn it off? There is a toggle to enable this feature but my concern is that is it wise to trust this feature and that it does not get in the way of my decision making?

I also wonder why casinos will put an auto-hold function if it helps players. It seems contradictory to their purpose of making money.

When you want to learn the basics of video poker you should turn off auto hold. Otherwise it wont matter.

The auto-hold feature in online video poker will not make you win. Do not believe for a second that it does. It is just programmed to select the best cards but other than that you are still subject to chance. Don't be fooled that it does because casinos don't give money away for free.
