Real Players or Fake?

When playing at a pokersite with a table of other players, and say you instant message them with the chat feature, and that person does not reply, how do you know its a real player and not a computer generated player that the casino or poker room has planted there to play against real players

I've often wondered the same thing. I do know some people don't like to chat, so they will turn it off. If they turn off their chat options, they won't see whether you are chatting to them or not.

I've seen discussion in areas on here where some of the poker players have mentioned site generated players. I've also experienced some bad beats from players who don't chat. That also has me wondering about your question catwoman.

Another thing I have thought about, is that some of the players are from another country and don't know how to read english, so it would be hard for them to respond.

i must say i'm wonde**** of this one too, but since i'm not a fan of chatting and i simply ignore and usually don't mind people who tried to talk to me. so based on my experienced, i guess some people aren't just interested in chatting because they prefer to concentrate on the game.

There are ways knowing if its real or not. All those generated player got no picture I guess. But those who have maybe igno**** your messages since some of us not use to chat while playing online gambling games.

Is there any difference between computer generated and a real player? I guess there no difference. Co's for me those computer generated player, play like a pro. But sometimes not but still they got this kind of strategy. Random playing is no use after all. :D

I don't think they are fake. They play like a pro. If they are computer generated they won't chat and I can see that their counting are a total strategy.

they are not fake and it was proven by me. like there was one time i try to chat one of them and invite me on my msn just to make friends. then we chat cam2cam and play all night.

they aren't fake. i play poker not because i'm interested with the game but to chat on female players. LOL! yah that's true! i make friends by chatting so i should know.

oh no they are not fake. some people just doesn't want to chat, some won't put images to their profile and others won't even care to complete their profile details. but this doesn't mean they are computer generated, they just doesn't want too much exposure.

Whatever the reason is, most of these people are real. Although there is a possibility that the site will deploy some bots to populate tables, it's in bad for to do this because when people will find out, they will most likely quit!

The top online casinos have bots that can detect the fake ones. So no need to worry.

I must agree with quinoharts. what's the purpose of playing when you are using bot. they rather stop playing than waste their time deploying bot.

all i know about bot are those online games like MMORPG for an instance. my brother play a lot like that. and i never thought there are also bot for online casino games.

fake player really s*cks. that's why i don't usually play poker. so is there bot in blackjack as well? hmm hope not. i'm a blackjack player though, but i also play poker if i got bored with blackjack.

if so then if some are using bot then its useless. they rather not play than wasting time and effort.

i never thought bot will be involve nowadays. so why play when they are too lazy to play and uses bot instead. (just a waste of effort).
