Pretend we have $10 bets per unit. We then,
* Wait until a point is rolled
* Put one unit bet on the field
* Put another 2 units on the numbers 5,6, and 8
What is this +EV or -EV?

In casino games, craps included, each bet is a -EV no matter which bets you placed your money on.

Above member is right. Every bet is -EV in craps.
The only casino games with +EV to some extent are Blackjack (with card counting, of course, except for online blackjack) and slot machines with payouts over 100% (there are a few).
