Hey ,
This came up in conversation the other day and I was wondering if someone can shed some light on the matter for me.
If you are playing correct blackjack strategy at a table with someone who is using incorrect strategy, does this have any effect on your expected value?
I would assume that it does not, but I have always heard that serious players will only play by themselves. Are they just being superstitious or does the presence of someone playing incorrect strategy at your table hurt you in the long run?
Also, if it does have an effect, if the person is playing incorrectly in seat 1 or in the anchor seat, does that heighten or lessen the effect??
