I just want to open up a thread by helping newbies in a world of Blackjack..
Feel free to share what lingo's that commonly use in Blackjack.
Bust is a word commonly for those who go beyond 21 and loses.
Draw is a term that taking additional card to reach 21 or closer.
Hit means to take another card/s.
Any one who wants to share? Share and get appreciated.

It can sound confusing at first but after a while you get the lingo. Don't worry about it man! sooner or later you're gonna be talking the talk and walkin the walk! :)

hahaha.... I agree with Jagged. When I was new to this game I kept on saying "hit" and kept on losing. Later on I learned what It meant and was very embarassed since I meant that they should give me another drink... LOL!!!

I agree. It is strange when you can't understand the lingo. It is like you are in a foreign country speaking a language you don't understand. And, let's not forget that blackjack also has its gestures or hand signals to signify things to the dealer.
For example what's the hand signal for hit me with another card or the gesture that means i surrender?
