play in silence, concentrate and listen to your instinct. usually the first thing that comes in your mind is just the right thing to do so don't ignore it. this is a sure way to win poker games.

That's true only yourself can make you win. If you are tricky enough then you can hold your breath till they lost their patient. Its a matter of how long you will last and how far you can stick to your gameplan.

If you asked about the sure way in winning, you have to ask yourself first and evaluate yourself if you have the exact knowledge in every game you play. Poker is very popular but i give you some tips on how to deal with it.
1. Just be yourself and have fun playing.
2. Be SMART and be WISE.
3. Have patience and be positive all the time.
So what are you waiting for?

All you need to do is to concentrate the game and observe the other players and if you can read what's on their mind then it's a good sign...But be careful that your not too obvious while observing them.

I don't think there's a sure fire way. Sometimes it is a gamble, literally. Other times its luck too! And then there's also instinct.

poker is known to be a bluffing game. so expect that your opponents are going to do that to you, but keep in mind that just because they bluffed earlier, it does not mean that they're going to do that all the time, so think tight.

bluffing plays a big role on playing poker games, if used correctly, it can be a big help. but keep in mind that bluffing only work in certain situations so you should also be aware of that.

Poker is essentially a game of skill. I suggest you polish this skill by gaining experience, reading more related material and observing how other people play.

The best tip ever: Practice practice and more practice.

Poker is a game of skill and practicing is a perfect way of honing it.

If you want to be a successful blackjack/poker player, you must know when to split your cards, when to double, when to take a hit, and when not to.

Never spend more than you can afford to loose. Always be very selective of where you play and be sure to read the terms and conditions. Try to stagger your spending.

I think you need to be the following: mentally tough, hardworking, competitive, honest with yourself, in control of your emotions, perform well under pressure, focused, patient, love the game and always demand an edge.
