Poker Parties

My friends and I get together every couple of weeks for a poker party at another friend's house. I didnt play poker before I joined this group. Im still new to the game but playing every once in a while has improved my skill. Plus, it can be fun even if we only play for pennies and dimes. Its has been a great way of developing observation skill, knowing when to bluff and subtly pushing your fellow players to tilt. :D

It seems poker parties arent just for the guys. I have a couple of friends come over for a game too. Its a great way to hang out.

constant playing may definitely increase your skill even if it's just for fun. i used to play poker at my best friend's house du**** weekends and it was always fun and at the same time my skills did increased.

agree with benjamin. the more you are exposed to something the more you will get familiarized with. that's a good way on practicing skills.

its like a normal thing to do. when exposing yourself with it the more you can build a strategy to beat up opponents. if you got lots of friends then you can play with them to practice yourself.

that's really through its like going to school. as you exposed yourself with too much lesson then you would come to a conclusion on making your own move to learn. in short you could make a move or technique to win.

it depends on ones personality. some people having hard time learning even thought they exposed to much. they got slow comprehension that could lead them into wrong move.

It's always fun and exciting playing with some friends and at the same time you will learned some skills and strategies by watching and joining them playing.

I like poker parties too. Great way to socialize and just hang out. Also a very good venue to sharpen your skills without the stress of winning :D

Most poker parties have small wagers. I say raise the stakes to make it more exciting! :p
