rich and famous!

have you heard of a certain person who got rich and famous only by playing poker? can you mention one you knew, and can you share us how he/she did it?

hmmm... tough question huh? never heard of one. but i know someone who is successfully playing online poker for a living. he's been doing it for 10 years and it's his way of supporting his family.

i don't know if this is possible. you must be a pro to be able to achieve this. think years of practice makes sense.

never heard but sure there are some people who got rich and famous with just playing poker. i think this is the main reason why some people would take the risk of making this as a job.

Never heard too, that some people got rich because of simply playing poker.. Famous maybe, cos i know some. And i dont think by playing poker can support a family or their needs. Well this is just my own opinion.

well at some point i do believe just like in some other field of games or sports like billiards or boxing. so this is possible! talents and hobbies can make you reach and famous too, so it all depends on the individual.

I have not meet a person who makes his/her living playing online. Online poker is for fun, not to make a living.

I know a couple of people that tell me that those who play for a living are not making what they say they do, sometimes its hard to explain to those who dont play exactly how it all works.

everything about money can make you become rich and famous even if its in a right way or bad way. they both do. but to tell how they do it? i think its their luck who make them like that.

anything could make you reach and famous and that includes gambling. it's not impossible as long as you're totally into it and giving your best concentration on it.
