yes it's possible. some people would cheat by telling their friend at the table what cards they have and they do this through chat or instant messaging.

I guess you're talking about bots that automatically play for you. I've seen some of these programs for sale online. As to how effective they are, I really have no idea since I've never tried them.

no i don't think so. if it were really possible, then i don't think online poker would last this long.

yes it is possible and the most common form of cheating i know is called collution. this is where several players at the same table share informations.
