This is really a silly question, is it still considered gambling even if you're playing without money involved or any other kind of bets? How about just play money involved is that still gambling?

Yah I know it's a silly one, I only want to know what people think. :D

It shouldn't be called gambling if there is no bet involved. I mean, what is there to gamble for if there is none on the table, right?

Yeah I agree. How can it be gambling when there are no bets? That's just silly. Unless there were something else involved that is not of monetary value.

hmmm... gamble for points like in facebook...

for me it defeats the purpose of playing...ie playing to win some money. it makes the game more exciting. otherwise, what's the point? without a wager, its just "playing".

it's silly but a good way to spend time if you have nothing to do :D

LOL that is silly indeed. How can it be gambling? Compare it to eating without food in your mouth. That would be pretend eating, yes? Let us call it pretend gambling just for the sake of calling it gambling. :D

gambling is defined as: the act of playing for stakes in the hope of winning :)

so even if it is just paper money, if you have the most paper money in the end then yeah, you most probably gambled. :)

anything that includes money is considered gambling no matter how much the cost is. when we say gamble, people would automatically think of money.

anyone can gamble without money involved on online like in facebook for example, so since there's no money involved, it's not considered gambling rather a game which most people do nowadays.

I can imagine that if you are playing to win something and in the meantime you have a chance to loose at the same time, no matter if it is money or biscuits it is still gambling. I can imagine it is only age restriction gambling if played with money.
